Hello dearies! I've never really had the opportuniy nor time to fully and properly pen down as well as reflect about Saturday. (haha. sounds. profound? lol.)

What I do know for sure, is that we've had an amazing time in Cedar NP. Peppered with such drama, it'd make one helluva soap opera. (: We've discovered things about ourselves that if not for NP, it's unlikely we'd know of them now. (Like for one, I bring my hair conditioner to camps even. Lol. And I'll be the first ones in the toilet all set to take a lovely bath! Ugh. Am I that particular about stupid stuff like that?! sheesh.)

Different sides we never knew existed, surfaced. All within the "boundaries" of our CCA. Whether we're fully aware of it now, and ready to better ourselves is for us to answer individually. We've taken crap (whatever you may perceive it to be, for we all have our differents dislikes, yes.). We've pissed and moaned and grumbled and whined.

But at the same time, we've had many joyous moments. 21 pretty much random people brought together under one CCA back in 2003. Who'd have thought it could bring about such powerful memories emotionally attached to us? Now and forever?

Just to name a few, NPDP, especially that one session during OAC, where we were really challenged, in many ways. Our squabbles. Our "rebellious" times. Our togetherness, whether for the good or bad. LOL. There's more, I'm sure.

NP has taught us many lessons. Important ones, too. We've come to accept things, know the ultimate mistake of assuming, taken things for granted and paid dearly for it, learnt to give each other a shoulder/body/butt to lean on, learnt how to suck it all in, deal with various sticky situations, learnt what it's like to be given the responsibility of a unit, how to work together right, start working on our People Skills, learnt how supposedly "minor" things like body language (read: the rolling of eyes, the crossing of arms), and tone of voice shows one's true emotions, etc. I think. it's safe to say that we've got the reading of human behaviour down pat. LOL. Sort of lah, at least!

We've learnt to adapt to uncalled for and utterly troublesome situations which we're better off without. But shit happens. (:

It's not always you'll find a bunch of 21 idiots goinig through so much together. All those enduring (read: not endearing, yeah. My foot endearing!) hours under the sun. Drill pracs, parades, camps..

We've had a fair share of scoldings from our seniors. We learnt to cope together. One for all, all for one. We know that it doesn't matter who did it. We've suffered a lot together, anyway. (Oooh. Rough terms. But such are the facts of life! LOL.)

We'll still catch up, and never drift off completely, agree?

That whatever it is, a squad we are, a squad we shall be, and a squad we'll remain. <3>

Happy Birthday, dearest squadmates. Here's to Delphinus '03-'06!

Tons of love, HUDA *a big wet kiss for all- MUACKS!*
